Ian McCamey spent over ten years in the editor's chair at some of the world's best VFX and animation studios (The Orphanage, Wild Brain, and ILM) working on everything from music videos and commercials to notable blockbusters such as “Star Wars”, “Superman Returns”, “Sin City”, and “Iron Man”, among others. In 2004, Ian made his writing and directing debut with “Child Psychology”, a 14 minute character-driven comedy that demonstrated his skills beyond the world of post. In the commercial realm, his work demonstrates a diverse skill set backed by strong performances, a unique visual style, and impeccable editorial rhythm. Central to all of his work is the attention to the distinct tone and mood necessary for each piece to stand on it's own. From prep through post, he has a confident yet laid back demeanor that helps each project come to fruition with a sense of calm and ease.
